Cycles of self
Cycles of Self reflects on time, memory, and the transformations we undergo through life. Childhood photos remind us how quickly time moves, and how each stage of growth feels like becoming a different person.
In the piece, my brother and I appear distorted — his eye melting into a clock, a symbol of time accelerating with age. It’s both surreal and personal, a meditation on growing up, facing change, and holding on to hope for what lies beyond.
